Ok Rebecca, calm down. There's definitely a learning curve to all of this but don't freak out yet. As for #2 it will be located at wp-content/themes/thesis/custom. For #3, find the layout.css file and right click on it. Click its properties and change the permissions to 666. Do the same for #4 of the custom/cache folder.

EEEEEK! I AM SUPER NOOOOOOOOBIE! I just got thesis 10 minutes ago and I am already stuck. Oh boy I am scared. What have I done? I don't know where the files are that I have uploaded. Found them.
1. Upload the new Thesis 1.5.1 folder to your /wp-content/themes folder. (done)
2. Locate the /custom-sample folder and change its name to /custom.
not called this: (I can only find Custom Template page Template- but it says in the text do not edit!!) - now what should I do?
3. Locate the layout.css file, and change its permissions to 666. (I don't know where to find the permission) I'd ask my mom for permission but I don't think this will help me here:)
4. [optional] If you’d like to give Thesis the ability to auto-crop thumbnail images for you, then you’ll want to change the permissions of your /custom/cache folder to 775. (dont' know where to find this either) OMG...
should I quit and ask for a refund?
