Frankenmuth Skin for Thesis

Frankenmuth Theme for Thesis(Download)

No, not Frankenstein!

Frankenmuth is a tourist town in Michigan where the background picture was taken.

This simple design might be perfect for a personal blog since it’s more focused on the visual aspects (”I want a pretty site.”) than the content (”I’m a serious writer and have a lot of important things to say!”)

I used a full-width design so be sure to set your Design Options to that if you use this theme otherwise it will look screwy.

The opacity of the content area can be altered in the custom.css file (along with everything else) if you’d like.

Hey R.J, this looks awesome based on the pics!

Is there an example of this beauty deployed somewhere?

Hey Mitch, thanks for the feedback! The whole skin began as an experiment with transparency. To answer your question, no, I’m not aware of anyone that has picked it up and run with it at this time. If someone has I would love to see it. Also, I might revisit it and add some effects to the sidebar widgets to give it a bit more “pop.” Maybe one day I will be a badass design ninja as well :)

RJ,
I like your recession theme. I am going to play with it on one of my blogs. I have been looking for something clean for a behavioral health blog I write. When I get it set up, I will let you know.
